The work includes approximately 20 pages of the village's history to familiarize the reader with Gertianosch. It is concise, content-rich, well-organized, beautifully illustrated and worth reading. The introductory notes to the family book are insightful and specifically focused on the problem issues. The families are clearly linked with the customary numbers and numerous references. In Appendix 6, there are different lists to supplement the family group information. The book is illustrated with color photos (church and cemetery), and has local maps on the inside cover.
